Reflection
Throughout this project I learned a lot about how to lead and how to handle different situations. I think the coolest thing that I learned from this project was that, I saw some area of an organization that needed to be fixed, and I created a solution to the issue. I had worked with the Intramural team for a long time, and they are so thankful that the Sigma Chi’s have learned to take it down a notch and compete the right way.
I also think I learned that no matter what there are going to be obstacles that you don’t expect to happen, to happen. A lot of times during my project things happened that were not supposed, and I think I was able to handle in the right way. But, I think it is good to understand the phrase expect the unexpected.
In the future, I think that I need to do remember that a lot of unexpected things can happen, and I need to have time set aside for that. I think that in the future, I will definitely be prepared to see an issue and take the initiative and try to solve it myself. This project helped me realize that, if you see something wrong, try to fix it. You can always wait for someone else too, or you fix it yourself, the right way. For future projects, I will know that everything does not go as planned and you need to be ready to adapt.
